My mission is to guide people in (re)gaining control over their own lives.

What I do

In 2023-2024, I underwent a deep transformation process.

A new beginning is emerging, along with a new way of working:

  • At the moment, I am guiding individuals online.

Whether you have questions about personal growth, emotional challenges, or simply need a listening ear, I am here to support you. Together, we can work on recognizing and embracing what is within you so that you can gain more insight and create space for change. Tension, stress, and ‘childhood trauma’ get stuck in your body and must also be felt there in order to be released and healed.

Another theme that is very close to my heart is practicing Shadow Work.

Polarization is a worldwide topic discussed daily. Does this have an effect on you? And if so, how? Are you curious about how to deal with your own inner polarization?

Doing Shadow Work, you create more self-awareness, inner peace, and authentic growth by integrating unconscious, rejected parts of yourself. It confronts you with your 'darker sides', guilt, shame, and limitations It will help you becoming emotionally more mature, understanding your projections onto others, and shaping your life more consciously.

What Shadow Work Yields:

Increased Self-Acceptance: By embracing your shadow, you stop fighting your 'unattractive' sides.

Better Relationships: You understand your own triggers and projections, leading to more honest communication and less judgment of others.

Enhanced Autonomy: You react less automatically, resulting in greater freedom of choice in your behavior.

Access to Hidden Strengths: Repressed talents (which were often too powerful or visible) become available again.

It is a straightforward, effective approach to personal development that helps you no longer be guided by unconscious fears. Start small by exploring your irritations with others, as these are often mirrors of your own shadow.

  • Do you need an individual retreat on the beautiful Greek island of Ikaria?

We work one-on-one, each session lasting between 10 and a maximum of 21 days. This gives you the time to gradually and feelingly deepen into a processing process.

Once we've gotten to the core, we work on building a new reality.

We work from a body-centered approach, starting from a very deep level of delay. This healing process takes time; you cannot force it.

The most important thing during these 10 days is to use the right tool at the right moment! When you have all the time and space together, it becomes an organic, almost magical process.

The energy, the silence, the pure beauty, the simplicity of the sunny island and the walks in nature contribute to a deep healing process.

METHOD / TREATMENT

What does it entail? What exactly happens in the body?

Understanding how your body works is of utmost importance.

Psychoeducation is therefore the first step in our treatment plan. It is crucial that you gain insight into who you are and why your body and emotions respond in certain ways. This understanding not only provides you with greater resilience and courage but also a stronger foundation for beginning your healing journey.

We work somatically, grounded in the knowledge of how the nervous system functions.

Biologically, we have a system in our brain that protects us when we are supposedly "in danger." This protection helps us instinctively to fight, flee, or freeze in unsafe situations.

Suppose a feeling of insecurity has been present from an early age for some reason (sometimes even from the womb). In that case, a basic tension (freezing) develops in your body, which you carry with you throughout your entire life. This results, for example, in an inability to feel in your body; whenever you need to stand up for yourself, you freeze, feel confused, and have difficulty establishing relationships, etc.

This is referred to as pre-verbal trauma.

As a baby or young child, your nervous system is not fully developed. In the first years of life, you depend on those around you for comfort and reassurance, which allows your nervous system to regulate itself during stress. This is called co-regulation. If this does not happen sufficiently, the body perceives it as life-threatening and overwhelming. The child develops various social survival strategies and grows up with an unconscious inner feeling of tension and fear.

The power of the treatment lies in activating and awakening a new existing system in our nervous system that provides us with resilience and stability.

At the same time, we will awaken the tension in the body to create a balance between building resilience and tension, and releasing emotions.

We work with a combination of craniosacral therapy (CST), Somatic Experiencing, trauma therapy, EMDR therapy, family constellation work, and psychodrama.

Effect

The effect is always a deeper grounding in feeling your body and your boundaries. A sense of inner liberation and calmness deepens the grounding. However, transformation is not a linear process.

Once back in your daily life, you get the opportunity to practice what you have built internally during those 10 days.

From a broader foundation and greater awareness—meaning a deeper connection with yourself, a shift in thinking from 'dorsal thoughts' to 'ventral thoughts'—you move from 'I feel like a victim' to 'I can handle it'!
